Deep In The Game, the crew behind Baltimore’s most successful
forward-thinking dance event, is proud to announce its second ever
release as a label, the “Pony” remix EP by TT The Artist.

A college-graduate from The Maryland Institute College Of Art (MICA)
with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a concentration in video,
Tedra also known as "TT The Artist," is a rising film maker,
multimedia, community, and performance artist, and rapper who lends
vocals to Baltimore’s rowdiest, and most raucous club tracks. For years
TT has worked closely with major Baltimore Club artists like Murder
Mark, James Nasty and Schwarz, all three of whom appear on
this release.

The track “Pony” by TT produced by Schwarz  is a re-interpretation of
the Ginuwine song of the same name. Taking inspiration from the
original and twisting it inside out, Schwarz and TT managed to make
something truly weird, while keeping the track accessible enough for
both club play and at-home listening.


The club-rap hybrid worked perfectly for a diverse roster of artists
to take theirremixes in a variety of directions. Remixes from Deep in The Game’s
Cex, Baltimore Club leaders of the new school James Nasty and Murder
Mark, Philly Club wunderkind Kilbourne, Baltimore via LA weirdo club
transplant Baglady and Noise-Rap pioneer
Rick Rab round out the release.

Baltimore, Hip-Hop often lives and dies at 130 BPM. That's the speed at which Baltimore Club operates, and as a hybridization of House, Hip-Hop and pure sampling, its sound and culture are like little else out there.

In conjunction with Gentleman Jack's Art, Beats + Lyrics event series, Vice Magazine  visited Baltimore to explore the club scene talking to artists such as Tt The Artist, Murder Mark, DDM and DJ Say Wut, as well as visiting one of the city's unique vogueing events, discovering how a small city is such a unique, trendsetting hub of art and music.

Is Baltimore Club Music dead? This is a question that many local and global audiences following the Baltimore Club Music culture have been asking. Some believe that since the passing of the legendary DJ K Swift, known for spinning and breaking some of the hottest emerging Baltimore Club tracks, the club music scene has died down.

On December 8, 2012 3-6pm, Artistland Productions will be hosting an event at Gallery 788 called "Rock Off Shake Off" a celebration in Baltimore Club Music and Dance Culture to highlight  and showcase the evolving culture of Baltimore Club andDANCE SHOWCASE
A MUST SEE! Witness with your own eyes the fast past moves and complex footwork of some of the hottest Baltimore Club Dance crews in the city! The Dance showcase features well-known Baltimore dance crews and their innovative Baltimore Club inspired choreography. The dance cypher will highlight some of the latest Baltimore Club dance techniques through raw one on one dance battles!   continue to spread the message  to the world  that "B'MORE CLUB IS ALIVE."

The event features a panel discussion featuring well-known djs, producers, dancers, party promoters, who have in one way shape or form supported and molded the Baltimore Club movement, a Baltimore Club Dance workshop, and a Baltimore Club group dance showcase and cypher.

TT THE ARTIST X GIVE CORPS



On October 11, 2012 Give Corps summoned ArtistLand Productions to celebrate its 1 year anniversary.  

 "The event, held at Union Mill in Hampden, celebrated the culture of philanthropy in Baltimore by honoring GiveCorps donors and nonprofit and merchant partners. To date, more than 200 nonprofits have benefited from the generosity of more than 3,000 Baltimoreans, collectively serving nearly 30,000 of our neighbors in need." -Whatweekly.com


Throughout the evening featured Artistland artists Tt The Artist and Whitney Frazier were the center of attention as they performed an on site collaborative art piece entitled "We Are The Change," with the party guests.

Tt The Artist has teamed up with New Orleans Bounce rapper Nicky Da B and is presently in the studio with producer Murder Mark creating some hot club tracks sure to get the crowd "Rocking Off" and "Dropping it hot potato style."
